The Office of the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and the Center for the Development of the Information Society TIEKE have launched a project GDPR2DSM supported by the European Union, aimed to increase the competences about data protection inside the SME. The project will start with an investigation that will identify the personal data protection exigences and the SME challenges. At the same time, we are searching SME that will participate to the project.
Based on the experiences, many SME need further information and support on questions about personal data protection both in Finland and all over Europe. The aim of the Office of Personal Data Protection Authority and of the project GDPR2DSM of TIEKE is to create material and an instrument in order to give to SME the possibility to assess their practices of personal data protection without any experiences about personal data protection.
The project will start by identifying the exigences of the personal data protection and the challenges of the SME. The results are a guideline for the project work and the base for the joined development with companies.
We are trying to find SME that can contribute and offer feedback on the development of the instrument. PArticipate means 3-4 short meetings in order to assess the instrument. You can participate in the project even if you do not know privacy requirements. If you are interested to participate, you can leave your contact information at the end of the survey.
Each response is precious and it will help to detect the situation in the field of companies. The survey is short and it asks about 5 minutes in order to be completed. The survey is open till the 19th of March 2021.
