The adequacy decision for personal data transference in the United Kingdom have been adopted by the European Commission.
On the 28th of June 2021 the European Commission has adopted adequacy decision for the transference of personal data in the United Kingdom pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation ad the Directive on the implementation of the Law (LED).
With the recognition of the adequate level of personal data protection, transference of data from the EEA to the United Kingdom do not ask any special authorization in the field of decisions. The verification of the respect of the general requirements of personal data protection for the transmission of data is necessary and shall be carried out regardless of that.
