Data access to the bank account of users: discovered a BlackRock, a new malware that steals personal information.

During this time it has been observed a new malware extremely dangerous for smartphones and all the devices with android sistem. In particular, it is BlackRock, which is a banking trojan that is inside of hundreds of apps available on Google Play Store. This malware was discovered by a team of experts, ThreatFabric, that the past May have done research from which it was found out that BlackRock have already infected 337 apps.

This banking trojan targets password and access datas to bank account of users, ad can perform the so called overlay attacks, send sms, block the victims into its activity of start into the home screen device, steal and hide notifications, deflect the antivirus software use on the device and act like a keylogger.

Is a malware too dangerous that threathens several personal data. This trojan comes from many codes of other malware but, different from this last ones, it is more dangerous and more harmful because it can have the access to all the data present on infected devices.

Actually being a victim of BlackRock is easier than we can think: if the user decides to download on its device apps from unsafe sources instead of using Google Play Store, it is common the risk of coming across this bank trojan.

Once the app, where the malware is inside, is downloaded the user can take it lightly some authorizations by giving its consent hastily, but by allowing the trojan to have the access to personal data, among them password and data of bank account.

The advice is to avoid downloading apps on your device from unsafe sources, because this is the way to become in contact with BlackRock.
