It has been signed the memorandum of understanding: Italian Data Protection Authority and Torino Wireless

Developing, in supporting small and medium companies, a more and more extended culture of personal data protection, raise awareness to all the actors of the economical and social life of privacy themes, realize digital educational projects which could serve also like a comparative period with the research world, universities, local administrations and companies.

This is the aim of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Italian Data Protection Authority and Torino Wireless, which is a foundation compromised for 20 years in a lot of studying activities, research and training on new technologies and innovation processes, for companies, institutions and third sectors.

The agreement requires a series of strategical actions: the projecting of cooperation forms in order to enhance Authority’s experiences and the Foundation; the organization of training and informational activities aimed to the digital education; the promotion of activities that will permit the compliance in the privacy ambit, like for example the adoption of codes of conducts, the comparison with the research world on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence of Internet of things and intelligence community themes.

The memorandum will last for three years. The implementation moods of the cooperating activities will be defined by next operational agreements.
